DMS Rebalancer in alter tablespace.

DB2 UDB V6 FP10, AIX 4.3.3

I need to add 5GB additional space in dms tablespace TBTEST1(35GB size).

After i alter this tablespace with additional 5GB, REBALANCER is active for 10hr to 12hr.

My doubt is,
During REBALANCER active stage, if i shutdown the AIX server, will it be any problem? After restarting the AIX server, will the rebalancer continue?

With my understanidng of the rebalancer processs, I believe it will contine after a restart, though I have not tested ..

Let us know how db2 responds to shutdown-restart , if you do
