Hi All,

I'm New to DB2.
I have to restore a databse to another server.
Here is what i've done.

1. I have installed same version of DB2 (v7.1) on new server
2. I have installed fixpack3 on new server
3. I have copied over database backup and directory structure of database backup to new server
4. I have tried to create database from backup.
(This fails with an error stating "The supplied crendentials are not valid")

Obviously i'm missing something here.
Also i didn't install an OLAP starter kit. (Is this needed)

Hi,

There is posible you don't have the same users defined. Create users on windows and then try again.
