NUMDB parameter
We have only 3 databases in a db2 udb instance. The NUMDB parameter is set to 8 (default). But we are getting SQL1041N error saying "the maximum number of concurrent databases have already been started . SQLSTATE=57032"

Why would this happen when there are only 3 databases and the NUMDB is set way above the max databases in instance?

This is ver 8.1 on sun os 5.8

Issue the command db2 list active databases and see the databases that are active ...
