Debug SQL Stored Procedure

hi, I have this problem: running UDB8.1.6, windows2000, db2 DB on AIX

Problem Description:
Within the development center the SQL stored procedure is not working
properly. I am able to build for debugging. I can then select debug.
When I select debug, the procedure runs until completion. The debug
specific buttons (step, step into, ...) are greyed out.
The debugger never gets control of the code execution, always show done.
