Debugging Stored Procedures

I'm tring to debug a stored procedure in DB2 v8 FixPak 4 and continue to get the following message:

A severe error occurred while receiving status from the debugger. To use the debugger you must restart your database instance. Return code = -1879048096

I have now restarted my instance about ten times and still get the message. THere's nothing in the db2diaglog.

Has anyone else encountered this and if so, what was your final solution?

Thanks in advance...
