Db2 XML Extenders

Has IBM made DB2 XML Extenders in Ver 8 an additional cost? In ver 7 the came with the product. The same question for the Text Extenders.

XML Extenders are now part of the base ESE Product ... It is not chargeable ( or can I say the cost is included in the ESE product license

)

Text Extneders were not chargeable in V7 ... I think it should be the same in V8 , but cannot confirm

I can confirm

It is included in ESE 8.1

Just run the enablement functions, like usual
and you'll be all set.
