I've done some searching on the forum but can't find any information. Here's my question;

Have an AIX 5.2/Db2 v7.2 fixpak 8 client (signature 7.1.1.72). Is this client compatible with a Windows (2000, I think, not my server)/Db2 v8.1 database server?

I can't locate any documentation from IBM that confirms or denies this. Most of the information regards V8 clients connecting to V7 servers. My situation is the opposite.

Thank you. It appears V8 servers support V7 client connectivity as long as they are 32-bit. I suspected this was the case but needed to find confirmation for one of my customers.
