Go Back  dBforums > Database Server Software > DB2 > Format other than .CSV while exporting.

Format other than .CSV while exporting.

This is the way I exported table data to a flat file.

EXPORT TO <filename.csv> OF DEL MODIFIED BY COLDEL SELECT * FROM <tablename>

I am just curious to know whether we can export data in any other format. Like Fixed File Format or Pipe Separatd Values.

There are other options like ixf and ASC ... You can use pipe sepearated values by using
MODIFIED BY COLDEL'|'
