DB2 newbie question
hi,

When I go into Control Center, I am logged in as my windows user, which is not registered as a DB2 user.

Is there a way that I can log in as 'db2admin' whenever I run the database, irrespective of the windows user?

I am running DB2 v8.1.5 ESE on my Windows 2000 machine.

Typically Control Centre pops up a login window where you can enter whatever id you wish when you select a database from the hierarchy. Is it not the case for you?

By the way, what do you mean by "I run the database"? Issuing db2start?
