2 db2 versions

hi all,
for a db2 udb 7.2 fixpack 10a database server, is it possible also to run v8 databases with an installation of v8 to this server?
is it possible that these 2 versions run together in same server without any problem??
is it possible that that the existing host connection is damaged?
may any problem arise????
tnx

If you have Linux or Unix DB2 versions, you may install version 8 and create version 8 instances on the same server. Just make sure that the new instances use a new port number.

You cannot install multiple versions of DB2 on a Windows server.
