UDB V8.1 AIX -
we are creating views with no. of columns > 100 and there are read activity on the db. There are no updates on inserts occurring.
We have seen the database manager crashing twice.
When I do a list applications it shows some applications but these cannot be forced by using the force application.
When we try to db2stop it says that applications are connected to the db and hence cannot be stopped.
We had to reboot in order to get db2 up again.
I don't have much clue to the root of the problem. Any help is much appreciated. I am enclosing excerpts of the diagonostic data.

i am using DB2 8.1.5 under AIX 5.1 ML 5 and RHL 9

i had db2 system crash, this happend when i used 16 k tablespace only

can u check the OS errors ( login as root , errpt -a )
it may give you an indication
