Unhappy OLAP functions on LUW & 390 systems
Version information: DB2 v7.1 on Windows, v7.1 on OS/390

Hello, I have noticed that SQL OLAP functions (partition, rollup etc...) work on distributed (LUW) systems, but don't work on Host based DB2

Why is that???

if anyone knows the reason, please let me know....

Hi,

Not sure, but I think that SQL OLAP functions are supported in v8.1 on OS/390.
