Cool Intergrating SQL to UNIX Interfaces

I am a newbie to DB2.
We are currently running DB2 Workgroup Edition version 8.1 fixpack 6 (upgrading to fixpack 7 in the next 2 weeks) and would like help with the following please?

How are you able to view external interfaces i.e. RMS (residential mgt system) running on MS SQL 2000 from Peoplesoft running on DB2?

Basically need to know how to import/export views between RMS & Peoplesoft?

I've heard about DB2 information integrator. Is this a seperate product that one has to buy from IBM or does it come standard with the DB2 software?

Thank you in advance.
