I have a db2 personal edition 8.1 installed on my windows xp. during installation it gave me an error which said

ERROR: An error occurred whil running the command
"/home/db2inst1/sqllib/bin/db2 CREATE TOOLS CATALOG SYSTOOLS USE EXISTING
DATABASE TOOLSDB FORCE" to initialize and/or migrate the DB2 tools catalog
database. The return value is "4".

i uninstalled and reinstalled db2 but faced the same problem. I continued using Db2 with no visible poblems until i was testing the db2admin stop and db2admin start commands

when i typed db2admin stop, itsiad that the command has executed successfully. but when i try to restart the db2admin with the command db2admin start it says sql4401c the db2 administration server encountered an error during startup.

i would really appreciate any help in this matter
