encrypt password in db2 script file

Does any body know a way to encrypt a password so a user could run a backup without need dbadm access. They have very limited access to the db's. I have a db2 connect to xxx user xxx using xxx, unfortunally, if I remove read access for the group and world, they can't run it. This is on DB2 V8, Fipxak 5b, Aix 5.2. Or does would it be easier to create a stored procedure or "C++" script to do it. ANy help would be appreciated.
