installing fixpack question
Hi All,
I am working with db2 v8 fixpack 3 aix5.2 , my question is for installing e.g. fixpack 5 we MUST use db2stop (bring down instance) before instalation?

could you please some one tell me the staps of this purpose.

Yes, you must stop db2 before installing the fixpak ....
