Which one is the quick and right method of fixpacking the client db2 ver 7 fixpack 11 adcl on Unix.

1.download the fixpack 12 and use db2_install to install the base and the fixpack in one step.Is it possible in UNIX?

2. Download the server fixpack 12 and use the installfixpack to fixpack the client and then update the client instance.

Hi,

Not 100% sure for Unix, but on Linux systems:
1. uninstall client,
2. download client from "Client column" (client is already fixed with fixpack)
3. install client
