Max # of cursors in DB2 UDB v6

Hi,

What is the maximum number of cursors I can open for a single execution in DB2 UDB version 6. Currently I am able to open up to 500 cursors, I think that is the default set.

Is it possible to increase this number, if yes how can this be done.

I would appreciate it if anyone can help me with this one or if you can direct me on where to find more information on this one.
