Hi,

An application is trying to create a package for the first time. We have given the ID the right to create packages using control center by checking the create packages button as well as the group that user is assigned to. However, when that user logs into the application, they cannot create the package. It takes a dba with admin rights to be able to create the necessary packages.

We are thinking that there may be additional privileges... Anyone know of any that could be causing this to occur?

The error is this until a dba logs into the app and runs the bind:

AEADB-800064 - Connection test failed
([tibcosoftware][DB2 JDBC Driver] Bind process is not active. Please ensure that the user has permissions to create packages. Packages cannot be created in an XA connection.)
