Restore without system tables

We are running DB2 7.2 fxpak 12 on W2K. We have a corruption issue with the sysibm.syscoldist table. Our Server re-booted in the middle of a runstats and now we can't do another runstats. Would we be able to restore all our user defined tablespaces and just leave the syscatspace out of the restore. Would DB2 just regenerate the tablespace after the restore or would we see other problems?

Unfortunately no.

When you say "corruption", do you mean the data is invalid or that there is a page-level corruption, ie. bad CRC?
