Hi ,

One of our users cannot execute the system functions like LEFT, RIGHT,etc of SYSFUN schema. When I tried to grant EXECUTE permission, I got the error as
[IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/AIX64] SQL0607N "GRANT OR REVOKE"
is not defined for system objects. SQLSTATE=42832

Now, I can neither grant the permission nor the user can use those functions. In such a situation, what should we do. I don't want the user to be ADMIN.
I feel that the an ordinary user should be able to execute these functions.

A help is highly appreciated.

Never Mind. This got solved. The function we were trying was with three parameters which doesnot exist.
