JDBC/Java and MainFrame
Is it possible to connect through Java/JDBC to MainFrame ?
IF Yes,can be configured ?
Can anyone point some documents / white paper?

You can ...

You'll have to configure ddf on the mainframe db2 ...

Then use a product like DB2 Connect to communicate with the mainframe ... DB2 connect provides jdbc drivers which can be used to access db2 ...

provides information ... Start with Quick Beginnigns and then follow on to the User's guide ... Also, refer the db2 installation guide for your version of mainframe db2 to setup ddf
