Hi everybody:

I am using UDB DB2 8.1.6 Fix pack 6 under Solaris 5.8 /5.9.

What is the maximum number of instances in one Solaris box and what is the range and max number of ports that it shoul use.

Thanks in advance

maximum

I dont' think there is a limit. the limit is the resources of the hardware box (cpu/memory..)
port ranges are any port as long as they do not overlap
