cursor%ROWCOUNT equvialent in DB2

Hi,

Is there Oracle cursor%ROWCOUNT equivalent in DB2? If it is not so, how can this be implemented?.

there is none
we are missing this...
the only solution for this : select count(*) from xx where ....
this would return the answerset size

Hi BKamesh!

I am sorry for mine poor English.

I while the beginner in DB2 (9 years of experience in Oracle) also.
Though in DB2 there are no attributes for a cursor as in Oracle, but i think sometimes you may to use the GET DIAGNOSTICS statement to to obtain
information about the previously executed SQL statement.
