Question MAX_SYNCH_MINUTES and SLEEP_MINUTES

Hi all!

I am sorry for mine poor English!

I have DB2 UDB 8.2 for Win2000.

Whether somebody unambiguous can confirm or to refute (from own experience or from the official recommendation from IBM), what the MAX_SYNCH_MINUTES attribute always should be less, than the the SLEEP_MINUTES attribute?

P.S. The speech goes about properties of subscription sets of the Apply.

Beforehand I thank for any explanations!

replication

sleep minutes is the interval between apply cycles when nothing todo
max_synch is the interval that will be used when applying data to target
this is a kind of commit interval whenever max_synch has been handled for modified source data
Best Regards, Guy Przytula

Thank you for the response!

I am sorry, but I waited for confirmation or disproof of my supposition, that the value of MAX_SYNCH_MINUTES of attribute should be always less, than the value of attribute SLEEP_MINUTES!

Best Regards, Dmitriy!
