Hi ,

I had a transaction log full problem so i moved to archive logging and the
database requested a full backup so i executed a full offline backup and then i got the following error and i now every time i try to connect to the database or change config parms or do a full backup i get this error.

" SQL1116N A connection to or activation of database "TOPAZDB" cannot be made because of BACKUP PENDING. SQLSTATE=57019"

What does the backup history show? (LIST HISTORY BACKUP ALL FOR TOPAZDB)

Are you able to do the full database offline successfully.
You can increase your trasaction log space using logprimary and logsecond
to a different value and then do a backup again.
