DB2 instance port - can I change it ?

I created a DB2 instance with port 70000. DB2 connect only support ports in the 1-65534 range. Is there anyway I can change the port# without having to drop and recreate the instance ?

Thanks

I think all youl need to do is update the port number for the corresponding service name in /etc/services. See the discussion of the SVCENAME database manager configuration parameter in [i]Administration Guide: Performance[/]

I would think that clients would have to be reconfigured to the new port as well. Look up the catalog database command.
