AS400 connection from Solaris

Hi All,
Can anyone tell me how to connect to AS400 server from solaris system.
Urgent help highly appreciated....

You will need DB2 Connect product, or at least a DB2 Connect license if you a version 8 client running on Solaris. DB2 ESE version 8 server comes with 5 DB2 Connect licenses, but other versions of the server (or just the client) require you to purchase the license for DB2 Connect.

Thanks Marcus for ur prompt re.
But is this the only option available & what if the client is running on Solaris 2.6
Can u tell me how to generate script in AS400 & schedule them like batch .

What sort of connection you're trying to establish to the iSeries DB?

ODBC, JDBC, DRDA?
