Help me in upgrading DB2 from ver 7.2 to DB2 8.2

Hi
I am in need of upgrading the present DB2 ver 7.2 running in AIX server (32 bit) to DB2 8.2 .

pls help me the process to be followed for upgradation.

Have you tried reading the manual? I've heard it helps sometimes.

Get your hands on the manuals and practice, practice, practice. This is not like upgrading a toy database like SQL Server where you can just type install and it all magically happens. V8 has a number of differences from V7 as you hopefully are already aware. Make sure you have current backups.
