DB2 New Hardware Selection

I am not the most hardware saavy person. Any input helping me make a more educated purchase would be greatly appreciated.

I am shopping for a replacement server. We run DB2 7.1 FP12 with Win2000 Server. The server will be dedicated to this application with about 30 users.

Other than "bigger is Better", is there anything specific to DB2 we should look for (or avoid).
- Processor single /dual/quad - Type - Chipset
- Drive type / configuration
- Cache, bus, I/O ...etc

We have a strong prefernce to Compaq/HP.

Thanks,
Cam
