performance details

I am analyzing the causes for the poor performance of the execution of a stored procedure. I would like to analyze it at the database level and at the application level.
In order to do so, I am looking for information (both at db level and application level) which would lead me to the cause of poor response.
I am using db2 udb ver 7.2 on NT.
Could someone tell me where should I dig for performance tuning indicators ?

thanks.

Anil

You should probably cut and paste the major SQL statements (the ones that execute against data) and do a visual explain on them.

DB2 7.2 on NT is no longer supported by IBM. If you can upgrade to Windows 2000 (even with DB2 7.2 ), things will run quite a bit faster.
