SQL Profiler in DB2?

Hi All,

Is there any tool of DB2/third pary which perform similar to SQL-Profiler in SQL Server?

Or is there any way to trace each and every request to DB2 server and view its details like, requested information, client m/c ip, user id, status of request (success/fail) etc...?

Thanks a lot,
Jai

That's called "snapshot monitor". See the administrator manuals.

It depends on what information you need to capture ...

Is it for performance ? Then event monitors will be useful... (The presentation http://www.gseukdb2.org.uk/downloads/0405event.zip should be of help)

If it is for auditing, db2audit would be a good choice

Cheers
