Running DAS and DB instances on a different systems

Hi,

is it possible to run DAS and DB instances on different machines?

I have 2 solaris systems: sys1 and sys2.
DB2 ESE v8.2 is installed on sys1. there are 3 db instances configured on sys1. I want install and configure DAS on sys2 to administer instances on sys1. Is it possible to have DAS on a separated system? If so, what kind of DB2 server do i need for sys2?

greetings!

Theoritically, the DAS should reside on the server machine that you want to administer and detect.
