I have just started working on DB2/400 (V5R3) after having worked on UDB V8.1 on AIX. Can someone answer my following queries ?

1) Is there an utility on DB2/400 which works as the Load utility on UDB (AIX) i.e. which loads data without logging

2) How does journalling work as compared to logging ?

3) What are the limitations if one tries to do administration work from a Windows DB2 client ?

4) Is there any pdf ( supplied by IBM) corresponding to the command reference for UDB on AIX which documents the various tools available and their usage ?


Any pointers to other sites with DB2/400 info / books will also be highly appreciated.
