Learning AIX

Hi All,

I have been working in AS/400 for the past 8 years. I would like to learn DB2. I have installed DB2 8.1 in windows and am learning. Now I would like to learn AIX too. How would i do that? I think of buying a machine and AIX from ebay and install the trial DB2 8.2 ESE. Which machine and which AIX version will be compatiable with DB2 8.2? Is it possible to have internet access from the machine to download the DB2 8.2?

Or is there any web site that let us use the AIX and charge for it?

Thanks,
Anbu
