Exporting / scripting tasks from Task Center

Hi,

We currently schedule DB cleanup and other maintenance tasks from Windows Scheduler and/or cron jobs in Unix, but recently we have wondered that they perhaps would be more consistent to maintain in DB2's Task Center, because they are only related to DB jobs.

The tasks can be created and run quite easily in Task Center, but how they can be exported from it to file ? I havent found any "export" feature from Task Center or either from DB2 manual. The subject has also been discussed in this forum before (Exporting and Importing tasks to Task Center -topic) , but atleast I didnt find any resolution for this ?

One possibility yet to inspect is to export them directly from TOOLSDB where I believe they are stored, but I'm little bit sceptical how well it would work when restoring them back to another DB ...)

Thanks,
Antti
