change tablespace state

http://www.dbforums.com/index.phpHi,

I have a new AIX 5.1 server with db2 8.1 work group server installed. I recovered a new database using redirected restore from an online backup image created from another same platform server. I didn't realize the tablespace problem until I applied db2 Fixpak 9a on my new server. I was able to connect to the database, However, one of the tablesapce are in still in backup pending state. Does anyone can tell me the trick on how to set the tablespace stateinto normal with having to recreate the database?

Thanks!
Lan

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I did db backup, the tablespace was brought to normal state and I was able to do insert. However, after I execute some db2 net search extender command, the tablespace is showed backup pending again. Do you know what maybe the reason?

Thanks!
Lan
