User passwords on WinXP system

Greetings,
Apologies in advance, because I'm sure this question's been asked a zillion times, but I've searched and searched and still can't find what I'm after.

I've just DL'd and installed V8 Personal Edition but I'm a complete newbie to DB2. I'm attempting to connect to it via ColdFusion and it's asking (obviously) for passwords, but I cannot find them!! I go into Tables view and add a user, but it doesn't give me the option to specify a password for the new user......how do I go about finding out what it is so I can change it??

Actually.....I think I've just found what I'm looking for. User control is via Windoze itself, is that right? Ergo, if I add a user account in WinXP and set it up as an admin, DB2 will automatically accept that user as a full access user for itself?

In your situation you can connect to your db2 database using the OS's (windows xp) user and password. As the db2's user must be the OS's user which after authorized by db2.
