Migration Advise V7 to V8.1 or V8.2 ?

Given a V7 DB2 UDB appliaction on Unix, what is advisable when planning an upgrade?

i) Moving to latest DB2 UDB v8.2 - with latest fix pack ?
ii) Moving to DB2 UDB v8.1 - with most stable fix pack ?

TIA

depends on your other applications.
if there's no other applications have specific requirement, i'd suggest you migrate to v8.2 fp10

FP10 (8.2.3) is more stable than the last 8.1 fixpack (FP6x). FP 11 will be available in January, and I would recommend that if it is available when you migrate.
