How can an employer verify the claims that one is certified?

Is there an electronic way to verify the certification?
As a test taker is there a way to get a print out of the actual marks obtained in the exam (I am aware that you can print the certificate)?

you can request by sending email to certify@us.ibm.com to send your certification status directly to employer (or prospective employer)

The funny part is that I am unable to view my actual score when I logon to ibm on my certification! There is a link that says certificate score and all I see is the logo that I can use in my resume!

Is there a way to look at the actual score that I got by logging on to ibm certification website?
