Question How to uninstall DB2 V7 from Windows XP
I would like to install V8 Enterprise Edition Windows on my workstation.
I currently already have V7 installed. When trying to install V8, it complained about 3 processes are running and interrupted the installation. Tried a couple of times and still got the same error.

Now I want to uninstall V7 and install V8.

Please advise. Thanks in advance.

I don't think you need to uninstall anything - just stopping the DB2 services should be enough.

Normally the installation comes up with a list of processes and asks 'Do you want to force them?'.

If this is not a production box, click on Yes.

Otherwise, go by what n_i has said
