DB2 ControlCenter not starting

Hi
I have problem starting my control center. It was working good earlier.
But suddenly today,When I tried to start,It tries to open, flashes and goes off.
I tried rebooting and starting couple of times but no luck.
I also made sure,my java is working fine,
java -fullversion
java full version "J2RE 1.4.2 IBM Windows 32 build cn1420-20040626"

The version I am running on is DB2 UDB ESE 8.2
OS:Windows XP
Any help on this is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in adavance!

You could also run the diagnostic version: db2cctrc:

First of all thanks for your suggestions.I would have implemented your suggestions if it did not work.
I was earlier having SUN JRE ahead of IBM JRE in my path&classpath.I swapped those and tried to re-start the control center,It did not work.I re-booted my computer,Miraculously ControlCenter came up.I dont know how it mattered,But glad that it worked.
