db2exfmt - client
Is Administrative client is mandatory to use db2exfmt on a Solaris machine where DB2 Client v8.1 is installed to generate access plan against a query running on a remote database ?

db2exfmt, according to the documentation, requires just a read access to explain tables. I think an ordinary db2 client should be enough.
