DB2 High Performance Unload

Hi,

I would like to know if the DB2 High Performance Unload is available on DB2 V8.1/8.2 for LUW. Does it come packaged with DB2 or has to be installed separately?

Any links or whitepapers would be helpful.

Thanks,
Ritz

hpu

hpu is a feature for db2 and NOT for free.
it is part of db2imstools
see : http://www.software.ibm.com/data/db2imstools
has to be installed after db2 installation
level is not related to level of DB2

Hi,

Where can I find the performance comparisons for HPU against DB2 EXPORT utility?
I couldn't find one on the IBM website. I want to find out what is the performance gain in terms of time if one uses HPU.

Any links or white papers for the same will be helpful.

Thanks,
Ritz
