Data mapping errors

I am trying to query a file that has a few date fields in it that are defined in the *ISO format with a default date of 1900-01-01. I am really confused, because when I query the file using STRSQL, I get the "Query run may fail" message. It keeps giving me this error referencing the fields that contain 1900-01-01 for the date and I can't figure out why. I have numerous other files out there with this date in them and they work fine. The other weird thing is, if I sign off of my iSeries and back on, then I can run the query just fine for a while, then the query messages come back again. What am I missing?
Thanks for any help!
