Exclamation Cannot Connect to DB2.Please Contact Help Desk

Hello,
I am currently working on Upgrading an aoolication from Weblogic 7.0 to Weblogic 8.1 SP4.After Upgrading,the different webpages are displaying but providing an error Message on the Top of the page as "Cannot Connect to DB2.Please Contact Help Desk".Could any one help me out in resolving the problem.Thanks in advance to anyone who could help me out.

Hi Bala,
On the Machine where you have installed Weblogic, try to connect to db2 in that machine separately from db2cmd.
I feel the problem is with the db2 connection.

start --> run--> db2cmd --> db2 "connect to db_name" where db_name is the database cataloged. See whether db2 is connected or not. If not then post the error message displayed.

Thanks for your reply.I am just using a Remote Desktop the main System Admin for this project is in U.S.,I shall send him this message and ask him to check it.
