Hi,

in db2diag.log file there are thousands of message like this:
Code:

PID : 19261 TID : 2199083220352PROC : db2agent (ISQ) 0
INSTANCE: db2inst1 NODE : 000 DB : ISQ
FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, common communication, sqlcctcpconnr, probe:99
MESSAGE : DIA3421W "TCPIP" protocol support: Environment Variable value
          "DB2SORCVBUF" = "65536" is "accepted".
Why are this messages?

My system:

Thanks,
Grofaty

DIAGLEVEL of 4 will also capture 'information' level messages as shown in your diagnostic log.

3 is the default.

HTH.

Hi,
I have changed dbm cfg parameter DIAGLEVEL to 3. Messages are still appearing.

I have figured out one application (don't know which) makes 10 "DIA3421W" warnings (it makes 10 connects and disconects inside 1 second) and then after another application connects to db the DUMP is created.

Can some tell me what this warning means? Why does it appears?

Thanks,
Grofaty
