What is a rule in db2(CREATE RULE blah..blah..)?

What is a rule in db2? I have heard many a people asking about it but couldn't find it. can somebody help me,please?

Rules are an MS SQL Server thing. They're similar to check constraints, which is a standard SQL way of doing this. In DB2 you use check constraints.
