dbm and db cfg's

version 8.1 fp 5 dpf 64bit on AIX5.2

I can't remember where db2 lands these files (per dbp for the db cfg's). Any help will be appreciated.

I have an issue with the config changing on some dbp's and we can't figure out when that happened. Need the timestamp of the last change to these files.

TIA

Is this what you are looking for ??

IMHO, the timestamp on the files may be used as a guide, but should be relied on. I guess the dbmanager may 'touch' these files for various operations ... I could be wrong though ...

Thank you. That locates the db cfg file.

Would you happen to know where the dbm cfg is?

Thanks, I found it. It's called db2systm under ~/sqllib.

You're right about the timestamp changing - how else would DB2 set init values for next startup for automatic parms.

Thanks for your help
