Hi,
We have DB2 7.1.2
I have installed IBM DB2 Client 8.2 in my computer.
I create an ODBC with “Configuration Assistant” and when I test it all is OK!!!!!!

But when I want to connect with some tool (for example Excel)
I receive the error:

[IBM][CLI Driver] [DB2] SQL0805N Package "MYDB.NULLID.SYSSH200.5359534C564C3031" not found .SQLSTATE=51002


What’s the problem????????

You need to do a remote bind on the V8 client using the Configuration Assistant. However, accessing V7 with a V8 client is not supported, but it may work for simple queries.
